What would I have done? Just as the producers recreated the Champions League to have Real Madrid win it against Arsenal, I would have recreated the World Cup with a fantasy story as well. Where ultimately Mexico would meet England in a match that would see Santiago vs Harris. A second round or quarterfinal game would suffice. England would eventually prevail but only to lose their next game. But to add a bit of drama, I would have had Santiago get injured and having to face the battle of being fit in time for the World Cup.
These guys stink big time and I hope the stench from this movie sticks to them for a long, long time. I hated this movie. I HATE this movie.
I hate it so much that I want you to hate it too. That is how much I hate this movie. On a brighter note, there are some pretty hot ladies in this film and Santiago is fat.
He reminds me Ronaldo. The Brazillian. Not the Portugese. I could not agree more with your review. The movie is total shite and has nothing to do with the two first ones. Nice to see someone agree with me once in awhile.. It was a good effort but fell short of its mark.
RIP Goal! Goal 1 and 2 were really good even having songs from Oasis and 3 doors down, I do not recomend this movie at all to anyone, dont buy this crapy movie youll be waisting your money……what were the producers thinking???? It was such a waste, why????? Why would they leave out so many characters, leave unanswered questions and not even put Santi as a main character???
The 3rd film gives no room for Santiago to redeem himself and become a respectable character again…. It actually seems like he is a different person. Really disappointing.. Tisk tisk…. An alternative novel was written to replace this thankfully — Goal! Glory Days. Buy that and read it instead of watching this. Goal 3 is crap!
