For the price the TM is a really good joystick, it tracks its movement magneticly wich makes it uber precise, its also ambi-dextrous you can swap out some parts to make it so , added to that is the feel of it, movement of the stick doesnt feel wobly or light, it had for me just the right amount of resistance.
The x52 was a bit of a dissapointment for me, the functionality is great and all loads of great programmable buttons etc. I do not know if the xpro has the same problems, i imagine it feeling as light as the x52, but the different materials used might prevent the stickieness. Then i went on to the G, well its kinda over-priced but it is an awesome piece of kit, it takes a LOT of getting used to the non-spring centering system the joystick depends entirely on its force feedback motors for centering , but once that is done there's no going back.

Joined May 24, Messages 6, I'm bummed about zero news or information about joystick support from DICE. Maybe someone can confirm this. I'm not sure "no news is good news" applies to this topic. I'll be shocked if throttle control actually works.

Flight Hotas X and it kinda sucked in BC2. I mean I know the flight stick isn't the greatest but the lack of it working properly partly to do with bad support in general and the weird configuration the flight stick requires in the first place made it a little meh. I also have a TrackIR 5 that I really really hope they will throw support in for as well. Joined Oct 29, Messages 2, The Cobra said:.

I attempted to clean it out and even take the potentiometers apart and clean them also Thought about taking the base just the throttle and 6 buttons, no stick from the old one and using it as a HOTAS unit for my new one by soldering a new cable on it, but found out the new ones have completely different circuitry and upgraded potentiometers from the old one. Maybe in the future So I've got the Logitech joystick and the Xbox controller as a backup in case the logitech one won't work. Flight Hotas is a great stick wtf?
Its supported in basically every flight game out there out of the box. I'll be seeing how it works in BF3. Joined Dec 13, Messages 1, I didn't realize joystick support was so tough to pull off but I guess when you have limited resources some things have to be done post launch. I thought it was all pretty much standardized at this point and it is just a question of remapping certain functions to accept an analog type input instead of a key press.
